Educators and Staff

All of the educators at BKCC hold recognised early childhood qualifications and are actively engaged in professional development courses to enhance their skills and the education they provide to our children. Additionally, all our educators also hold current first aid, asthma and anaphylaxis qualifications and current Police and Working with Children checks.

The children who attend BKCC directly benefit from the dedication and passion exhibited by our educators every day. Each educator has been carefully selected to ensure delivery of quality educational programs and to meet the needs of our children, in a caring and nurturing environment.

The teaching structure at BKCC comprises four educators who teach the 3 and 4 year old kindergarten programs, together with four assistants. BKCC also provides a mutli-age program called Explorers which is run by a coordinator and assistant.

Within this structure, BKCC has also appointed an Educational Leader whose role is to oversee all programs and ensures they are exceeding requirements as per the National Law, Regulations and Quality Framework and the BKCC philosophies and policies. Additionally, the Educational Leader provides supervision and mentoring to educators and liaises with the BKCC committee.

A Nominated Supervisor has also been appointed to oversee the organisation as a whole and ensure the BKCC is exceeding requirements as per the National Law, Regulations and Quality Framework and our philosophies and policies. Like the Education Leader, the Nominated Supervisor provides supervision and mentoring to educators and liaises with the BKCC committee.
